On the evening of May 20, 2023, 39-year-old Andy Crawford Jr. was fatally shot in the head on Johnson Street in Thomasville, Alabama. He was initially treated at Thomasville Regional Medical Center before being transferred to University Hospital in Mobile, where he succumbed to his injuries on May 23. Witnesses reported hearing numerous gunshots during the incident.
