In the small town of Grant, Alabama, a sense of unease settled over the community following the violent death of one of its own. Gregory Allen Jarrett, a 28-year-old male, became the victim of a fatal shooting in the summer of 2023. The incident unfolded on the afternoon of Thursday, June 15th, when Jarrett was found with a gunshot wound in the front yard of a home in the Simpson Point Community, located in the 2500 block of Eleven Forty Road.
