On the night of December 28, 2014, Preston Cornelius Johnson Sr. and his son Preston Cornelius Johnson Jr. were tragically shot and killed in Washington, D.C. The incident occurred at approximately 9:49 PM in the 1300 block of Southern Avenue SE. Both father and son lost their lives in what is described as a double homicide.
