In the winter of 2023, a burst of violence shattered the holiday season in Montgomery, Alabama, claiming the life of 59-year-old David Pitts. On the evening of Friday, December 29th, law enforcement and emergency services were dispatched to the 3700 block of Cresta Circle following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Pitts, a male resident of nearby Lapine, suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
