On June 25, 2024, 38-year-old Kristy Gladden Hancock was found deceased from a gunshot wound at her residence on County Road 221 in Collinsville, Alabama. Responding to reports of an unconscious woman, deputies from the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office, along with Collinsville and Crossville police, discovered her body.
