Death by Force

In the early evening hours of June 3, 2015, an argument broke out in the vicinity of Gallaudet and Kendall Streets in Northeast, D.C. The heated exchange, reportedly involving two individuals, escalated into a physical assault. The victim of this attack was 57-year-old Anthony Ray Melvin, a resident of Clinton, Maryland. Following the altercation, Melvin managed to drive himself to a local hospital to seek medical attention for the injuries he had sustained.
