On January 8, 2016, Roger Haggins, a 30-year-old man, was shot at approximately 11:30 PM in the 2500 block of Pomeroy Road, SE, Washington, D.C. Members of the Metropolitan Police Department's Seventh District found Haggins with a gunshot wound. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition but, unfortunately, passed away on January 9, 2016. The homicide remains under investigation by the Metropolitan Police Department's Homicide Branch.
