White/Caucasian male Hans-Peter Roelle, age 40, died on November 24, 2001, in Wasilla, Alaska, after a domestic-violence call spiraled into a pursuit and an ambush at the suspect's home. According to memorial records, the incident began when the suspect pushed his girlfriend from a moving vehicle; when medics and troopers arrived, the suspect fled at speeds over 100 mph, forcing troopers to abandon the chase.
