On February 8, 2015, in Unalakleet, Alaska, 31-year-old resident Tauna Showalter was found deceased from an apparent gunshot wound following a physical altercation with another adult male. The incident occurred late Sunday night, prompting a response from the Unalakleet Police Department and Alaska State Troopers.
