Murdered

On October 17, 2018, the body of 35-year-old David Cargill was discovered near the old Eklutna Power Plant in Palmer, Alaska. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body. Initially, the Alaska State Troopers responded to the scene, but the investigation was later transferred to the Anchorage Police Department (APD) upon determining that the death likely occurred within their jurisdiction.
