It was early on Valentine's Day morning in 2019 when the life of 32-year-old David Anthony Remen, a male from La Crosse, Wisconsin, was tragically cut short in Washington, D.C.. At approximately 5:49 a.m. on February 14th, inside an establishment in the 1700 block of Hamlin Street, Northeast, a burst of gunfire erupted. When officers from the Fifth District of the Metropolitan Police Department arrived at the scene, they found two men suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
