On June 15, 2023, at approximately 5:01 AM, Anchorage Police responded to reports of gunfire in the 100-block of West Dimond Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers discovered 51-year-old John Martin III deceased in a parking lot, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body.
