A 31-year-old Hawaiian Native man named Tino Faualo died on December 20, 2016 in Anchorage, Alaska, after being shot in the chest. The events leading to his death began with a domestic dispute at a residence on the 5400 block of Camelot Drive in east Anchorage. Earlier that evening, Faualo had threatened his wife with a gun. Fearing for her safety, his wife called her father, 55-year-old Valu Valu Jr., who came to her home.
