Death by Force

On the evening of August 21, 2024, at approximately 8:05 p.m., 28-year-old Kayla Alexandria Warren, known professionally as "KayWay" or "205KayWay," was attending a gathering at a friend's residence in the 700 block of 30th Street Southwest in Birmingham's Germania Park neighborhood. While standing on the porch, Warren was struck by gunfire from an unknown assailant. Emergency responders transported her to UAB Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased from her injuries.
