On June 20, 2024, at approximately 9:49 p.m., Tuscaloosa Police responded to a shooting at 817 33rd Avenue in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Upon arrival, officers discovered 34-year-old Christopher Labryant Shobe outside the residence, suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He received medical attention at the scene and was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
