On July 18, 2023, two-year-old Ariyah Justine Crawford was found unresponsive at her home in Tarrant, Alabama. Emergency responders transported her to Children's Hospital in Birmingham, where she was pronounced deceased. An autopsy conducted by the Jefferson County Coroner's Office revealed the presence of fentanyl in her system.
