Gerald Wayne McRee, a 60-year-old man from Woodstock, Alabama, tragically lost his life on May 27, 2022, in a fatal crash on Alabama State Route 5 near Woodstock. The collision occurred early in the morning when McRee’s vehicle was struck by a pickup truck driven by William Brooks Foster, a 24-year-old man who was reportedly driving under the influence.
