In October 2022, 31-year-old Zachery Steed Coats, originally from Wildomar, California, was reported missing by his family, who had not heard from him for several months. On October 21, 2022, Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies conducted a welfare check at a residence in the 3700 block of Raceway Parkway in Mount Olive, Alabama.
