On the evening of April 3, 2021, a quiet street in Lipscomb, Alabama, became the scene of a sudden and tragic death. Joshua Scott II, a 50-year-old male, was walking near the 5000 block of 5th Street at approximately 8:26 p.m. when he was struck by a vehicle. The driver of the car did not stop to render aid and fled the scene, leaving Scott fatally injured.
