Woman found murdered along I-76
On October 25, 1979, the body of 19-year-old Sheila "Cricket" Birl was found along Interstate 76 near Weld County Road 51, close to Hudson, Colorado. She had been reported missing earlier, and her death was determined to be a homicide. Despite efforts by law enforcement, no suspects have been identified, and the case remains unsolved.
