On October 9, 2019, 60-year-old Debra Ann (Grant) Chapman was fatally shot at her residence in Verbena, Alabama. The incident began when a dog was struck by a vehicle near the intersection of County Road 480 and County Road 813. An argument ensued between Debra's husband, Paul Chapman, and 23-year-old Dallas Clint Gray. During the confrontation, Paul Chapman reportedly fired the first shot, after which Gray returned fire, resulting in Debra's death and serious injuries to Paul, who was airlifted ...Read More
