On November 24, 2019, in Smoke Rise, Alabama, 53-year-old Delilah "Susie" McKee was found dead alongside her estranged husband, Ricky McKee, at her residence on Long Leaf Trail. Both had sustained fatal gunshot wounds. Authorities determined the incident to be domestic-related, with no ongoing threat to the public.
