On September 3, 2019, the decomposing body of 35-year-old Adam Ruben Jason Beard, a male resident of Blountsville, Alabama, was discovered inside a steel canister behind a home on Paige Springs Road. An investigation determined that Beard had been brutally beaten to death with an aluminum baseball bat. His mother had reported him missing just one day prior to the grim discovery.
