The Jefferson County coroner announced on Tuesday that the individual whose decomposing body was discovered in the Arlington-West End neighborhood on Thursday was a victim of murder.
Identified as Darrius Dewayne Brown, 33, the coroner reported that he died from a gunshot wound inflicted during an assault. Brown was identified through his dental records.
