Death by Force

At approximately 1:12 a.m., a North Precinct officer was patrolling the 800 Block of 2nd Avenue North when he heard gunshots. Responding to the noise, he drove to the parking lot of a local business after community members alerted him to a shooting in the area. Upon arrival, the officer found Jjuan Cole lying on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound. He also discovered an adult female and Dyron Mays-Perry, both suffering from gunshot wounds.
