A Birmingham woman has been taken into custody following allegations that she intentionally caused her uncle's death through a house fire.

Authorities report that Otis Jones Jr., 44, of Birmingham, succumbed to injuries sustained while trapped in his burning residence on December 28. The incident occurred in the 1000 block of Westley Street in the Inglenook area near Tarrant.
