A young woman is killed outside her father's home on Christmas Eve
On December 25, 2008, 38-year-old Margaret Sweet was found shot to death on the front porch of her father's home on Fosdick Circle in Colorado Springs. Her father, James Egger, discovered her body in the early hours of Christmas morning after returning from the hospital where he had been caring for his wife. Sweet, who also went by the alias "Shelby Jamison," had been living at her father's home temporarily to help care for her stepmother, who was recovering from surgery.
