A 10 year old girl who was abducted while riding her bicycle is found dead
Rhiannon "Rosie" Gordon, a 10-year-old girl, was tragically abducted and murdered in July 1989 in Burke, Virginia. Rosie was last seen on July 2, 1989, while riding her bike home from a friend's house in the Lake Braddock neighborhood. Her disappearance sparked a massive search effort by local residents and authorities. Two days later, on July 4, her body was discovered along Bentonbrook Road in Fairfax. The cause of death was determined to be asphyxiation.
