In the winter of 1999, a violent encounter in Arlington, Virginia, cut short the life of 17-year-old Ronald Haynes. The fatal incident occurred on the evening of January 14th, beginning with a physical altercation at the Glebe Market. Haynes, a male, was with two friends when they got into a dispute with three other males.
