A man and his dog are found shot to death
Richard Anthony "Dickie" Palmer, aged 52, was found murdered on April 22, 2003, in Floyd County, Virginia, in a case that remains unsolved. Palmer, along with his dog, was shot to death, and their bodies were discovered in the front floorboard of his truck. The vehicle was found abandoned in Roanoke City, leading authorities to suspect foul play.
