Colorado man found shot to death in an irrigation ditch
On May 16, 2012, the body of a Caucasian male, Joseph Peters, was discovered by employees of the Farmers Reservoir and Irrigation Company in an irrigation ditch in Weld County, Colorado. The location of the discovery was near Interstate 76 and Weld County Road 12.5. An investigation revealed that Peters had been fatally shot before his body was wrapped in a tarp and left in the ditch.
