On April 29, 1989, 56-year-old Fulton Honeycutt was found deceased in the doorway of his garage apartment at 121½ East Berta Street in Tyler, Texas. Responding to a report of a motionless male, police discovered evidence indicating a homicide, with signs suggesting a struggle had occurred inside the apartment prior to his death.
