On November 3, 2006, the body of 16-year-old Terressa Vanegas was found behind Dickinson High School in Dickinson, Texas. Her body was discovered face-down in a puddle of water on a former soccer field. Vanegas had been missing for several days, with her family reporting her disappearance soon after Halloween.
