On November 3, 2006, the body of 16-year-old Terressa Vanegas was found behind Dickinson High School in Dickinson, Texas. Her body was discovered face-down in a puddle of water on a former soccer field. Vanegas had been missing for several days, with her family reporting her disappearance soon after Halloween. Her brother mentioned that she was last seen at home on Halloween night.

The cause of death was ruled as a homicide by the Galveston County Medical Examiner's Office, but details ...
