On September 22, 2007, Michael Sanders, aged 47, was killed in Houston, Texas. The incident occurred during an attempted robbery by Pablo Melendez. According to court documents, Melendez approached Sanders and another man, demanding money. When the victims hesitated, Melendez opened fire, shooting both men. Sanders was hit multiple times and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
