On November 19, 2015, 20-year-old Joel Gomez was tragically shot and killed in Denver, Colorado. Gomez was inside his bedroom at his residence on the 3300 block of Dahlia Street when the fatal shots were fired through his window from an alley. The gunman, Kenneth Banks, later confessed to the murder, stating that it stemmed from a prior altercation with Gomez at a club, which Banks perceived as disrespectful.
