Death by Force

On March 29, 2009, 28-year-old Nelson Padilla was shot and killed in Houston, Texas, in a crime that remains unsolved. Padilla was found shot at around 2:15 a.m. near Dashwood Drive, where responding officers discovered him in critical condition. He was rushed to the hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. Despite an investigation launched by the Houston Police Department, leads in the case went cold, and no suspects were immediately identified.
