On July 11, 2009, Lamont Malone, a 36-year-old man from Houston, Texas, suffered fatal injuries following a shooting incident. He was found wounded in his abdomen and shoulder and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries the following day.
