Clarence Vick, aged 61, was tragically shot and killed on June 27, 2011, while watering his lawn in the early hours of the morning in southwest Houston. Vick, who had just returned home from his part-time job as a nightclub photographer, was approached by two men who demanded money from him. During the encounter, the robbers opened fire, striking Vick. He was rushed to Memorial Hermann Hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
