Dominique Domino Singletary, a 20-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on March 4, 2012, in Houston, Texas. Singletary, an aspiring rapper, had just left a meeting with a music producer at a recording studio before heading to a friend's apartment located in the 300 block of Benmar. As he was walking from his car to the apartment, he was confronted by a group of individuals. During this encounter, Singletary suffered a single gunshot wound, which proved fatal.
