On July 8, 2013, Gerald Clark Roy, aged 45, was found deceased near 3424 Airport Boulevard in Houston, Texas. According to the Houston Police Department, Roy suffered a gunshot wound and was severely burned. HPD officers initially responded to reports of a white pickup truck seen near a bayou, where they discovered blood inside the vehicle. After searching the area, they found a fire in a nearby wooded area. Firefighters extinguished the blaze and discovered Roy's remains.
The case remains under investigation, and authorities urge anyone with information to come forward.
