On January 27, 2014, 31-year-old Ascehsion Garcia was killed during an apparent drug-related robbery in southeast Houston, Texas. According to the police reports, Garcia had been dealing drugs out of his apartment at the Encanto complex on Lawndale near Griggs. During the early hours of that day, Garcia became the target of what authorities believe to be a planned robbery.
