Alejandra Gueldner, a 63-year-old hotel worker from Houston, was found badly beaten and sexually assaulted on January 17, 2014. She was discovered around 4:45 a.m. lying outside a business at 1200 Hardy, just northeast of downtown. Surveillance footage showed her leaving the Hilton Americas after her shift, and she was later seen walking near the George R. Brown Convention Center before disappearing from view.
