Amiliar Portillo, a 26-year-old man, was fatally shot on the night of March 31, 2014, in Houston, Texas. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. at an apartment complex on Summer Street. When Houston police officers arrived at the scene, they found Portillo lying unresponsive in the parking lot.
