Robert Blanton, a 32-year-old African American man from San Antonio, Texas, was tragically shot and killed on June 2, 2014. He was killed minutes before his 33rd birthday while driving with a woman on the East Side of San Antonio. They were on their way to a "weed house" when shots were fired at their car, a Mercury Grand Marquis. Blanton was hit several times and later died at the San Antonio Military Medical Center.
