On February 20, 2015, 21-year-old Steven Cerna was found shot to death in a drainage ditch known as “Hell’s Gate” in San Antonio, Texas. Cerna had been lured to the area under the pretense of making money, reportedly for drugs, before being killed. The site, located in the 1100 block of Shadwell, was later discovered to be the location where Cerna was shot multiple times, including twice in the face.
