Kathleen Keohane, age 17, was killed on September 3, 1976, in South Lake Tahoe, California. Kathleen had moved to Tahoe in June 1976, hoping for a fresh start after her parents' divorce. She planned to spend her senior year at South Tahoe High School while staying with friends and her fiancé, Mike Warren. On the night of her murder, Kathleen had dinner with Warren at Carrows Restaurant, where he worked. After dinner, she told him she was going for a walk and would return to meet him at the end ...
