On May 24, 2015, a tragic incident occurred in Houston, Texas, involving 35-year-old Jose Andrade-Medina. Medina was reportedly driving with a blood alcohol concentration of .183, significantly exceeding the legal limit of .08 in Texas. This impaired state led to a severe auto accident, resulting in the death of one of his three passengers.
