On the evening of August 17, 2015, David Chavez, 24, and his girlfriend, Yvette Rodriguez, 26, were tragically killed in a double homicide in Houston, Texas. The couple was sitting in a parked car outside Rodriguez's residence on Edinburg Street in southeast Houston when a series of gunshots were fired at them.
