On November 23, 2015, Daniel Trevino, age 32, died during a violent encounter in Houston, Texas. Trevino was the subject of a warrant being served at a home in the Mount Houston area. When law enforcement officers arrived, Trevino opened fire, injuring three officers — a Harris County Sheriff’s sergeant and two agents from the Texas Attorney General's Office.
