Ephfran Boyd, 26, was critically injured in a shooting on June 6, 2016, at a residence located at 2510 Trout in Houston, Texas. Boyd had arrived at the location around 4 p.m. to spend time with friends. Later that evening, two male suspects appeared, with one asking for Boyd by name while the other rummaged through Boyd’s vehicle. As Boyd confronted the second suspect, he was shot by the first. The suspects then fled in a maroon, four-door vehicle. Boyd was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on June 19.
The suspects were described as two black males, one of whom was approximately 30 to 35 years old, wearing a black T-shirt, black pants, and a red ball cap. The other suspect was of unknown age and was wearing a hoodie. The Houston Police Department urged anyone with information to contact them to assist in the investigation.
